ObseTrubadúr is my personal task-management setup in [Obsidian](https://obsidian.md), using the [TaskNotes plugin](https://tasknotes.dev). I operate this Google Calendar connection for my own account and devices. I am not offering a calendar service to other users.
## What the connection does
With my authorization, the plugin reads my Google calendars and events so I can view them alongside my tasks. It also creates and updates events in my chosen Google calendar from dated task notes, including configured descriptions, recurrence and reminders. Task changes can update or delete the corresponding exported events.
The purpose is straightforward: keep my personal schedule aligned and use Google Calendar's reminders.

## Personal-use terms
This installation is for my own use. There are no registrations, subscriptions or external users. Google Calendar, Obsidian and TaskNotes remain subject to their respective terms and policies. For questions about this installation, use the support email displayed on its Google authorization screen.
## My verdict on the setup experience
I wanted to synchronize a calendar, not moonlight as the administrator of a software company.

That is my opinion of the setup bureaucracy. The functionality and privacy information above is factual.
