Finally, at around a quarter to 11, I sat down in `Sarkokokpit`'s office chair and started dealing with stuff, cleaning up things.
I also replied to `Copatý`, who had sent me instruction manuals on how to synchronize EduPage with Microsoft 365 accounts. I’m highly doubtful this will work as intended, because it's EduPage and Microsoft, and I have next to no trust in either of those. But of course, I can give it a try, as opposed to doing it manually like a year ago when setting up hundreds of new Microsoft 365 accounts for our students and employees.
I replied to `Copatý` in some detail, explaining, for example, that there are no subgroups possible in MS Teams, unlike in Google Groups. If a student is a member of six different groups, you need to assign them to each one manually or via PowerShell (of which there are three versions, and only one actually works), and so on and so forth. In Google Groups, you can use subgroups: you only assign the student to their own class group, and then that class group can be placed into a larger group as a whole. But not in Microsoft, of course. It is going to be an absolute nightmare doing this, just like it is every single year in late August and early September.
There were also some positive developments on the newspaper's `Šľak`, where one of the lady `lumberjacks` offered to take over my day shift from 8 to 10 on Saturday, leaving me with “only” a 6-hour day shift from 10 to 4. However, the Thursday afternoon day shift from 3 to 7 is still uncovered, and it looks like I will have to take that one on.
So it looks like I'll be overloaded this week with `lumberjacking` for the newspaper, even though I haven't even finished the `lumberjacking` team feedback that was due exactly seven days ago last Monday. 😳 I still have those 15 `lumberjacking` team feedback 🍅🍅 to deliver.
